Save a credit card to your account, and turn on auto-renew. This is the easiest way to ensure you have continued access to Burp, as the license will automatically renew at the end of your subscription.

Alternatively, you're able to renew your subscription via your PortSwigger account. Click "Manage Subscription" then "Renew" option next to the relevant subscription in your account dashboard and either pay or generate a quotation or invoice.

You do not need to send us your PO as we require prepayment for all orders.

If you need to add the PO Number for your own procurement processes, just click "View invoice" on your quotation and then "Add Purchase Order details" to add your PO number to the invoice.

If you're purchasing a new license, find a Reseller here and let them know the details of who you would like the license to be registered to.

Looking to renew via a Reseller? Provide your reseller with either the previous PortSwigger Order Number or the Email address of the End-User currently associated with the subscription so they can contact us for a renewal quotation.

You can add new users to your existing Burp Suite Professional license from your PortSwigger account. Find your subscription and click on the "Increase users" option from the Manage Subscription dropdown box and follow the prompts to the payment screen. Please note the cost is calculated pro-rata based on the number of days remaining on the license.

Looking to add users via a reseller? Provide your reseller with either the previous PortSwigger Order Number or the Email address of the End-User currently associated with the subscription and how many users you would like to add so they can contact us for a quotation.

Each individual using Burp Suite Professional must have their own subscription. Subscriptions can't be shared between individuals, even if only one person uses Burp Suite Professional at a time.

In this context, individuals means actual people, not concurrent users or installations.

The number of users is specified during purchase, and you can add users anytime through your PortSwigger account, under Manage subscription > Increase users.

Yes, you can install Burp Suite Professional on multiple devices. Each device must be activated separately. Activations are allowed within reasonable limits, provided you follow the license terms, such as the number of users who are licensed to use the software.

We reserve the right to limit the number of activations per subscription and restrict further activations if this limit is exceeded.

Each installation of Burp Suite Professional requires activation. If you see a message saying No more activations or Activation failed, it means you've reached the activation limit.

To remove Burp Suite Professional from your computer:

  1. Click the top-level Help menu.
  2. Select Clean Burp from computer. The Clean Burp from computer dialog opens.
  3. Choose the items you want to remove.

This process doesn't reduce the number of recorded license activations.

As we deliver the license electronically there are no shipping costs.

Yes, we offer 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 year subscription terms - you can create as many quotes as you need.

Log into your PortSwigger account and navigate to the "Your Subscription" page and switch on the auto-renewal toggle. You will also need to save your card details in the "Personal details" section.

To transfer your license to another account, send your request to hello@portswigger.net specifying the new end user's details (name and email address). Once the transfer is complete, the new end user will receive a confirmation email.

Please note, the new end user must have their own PortSwigger account first.

You can access your license keys through your PortSwigger account.

You can use the "Forgot your password?" link from the user account login page at any point to request a new password.

Since December 2024, we've begun collecting US sales tax in applicable states.

Sales tax is calculated on a state level, based on the address you entered. We use Vertex, a third-party service, to provide the relevant rate and calculation at the time you place your order.
