In Burp Suite Enterprise Edition, a standard deployment is a deployment created using the installer. This is as opposed to a Kubernetes deployment, which is deployed to a Kubernetes cluster via Helm.
This section explains how to perform a production-ready standard deployment of Burp Suite Enterprise Edition, and how to configure the application once it is installed.
Note
Burp Suite Enterprise Edition offers multiple licensing, deployment, and installation options. We strongly recommend that your organization takes some time to decide on the best deployment type and system architecture to use, and that you review the system requirements, before attempting to install.
If you have not yet done so, see Preparing to deploy Burp Suite Enterprise Edition.
To install Burp Suite Enterprise Edition:
- Review the prerequisites for installation
- Configure your environment network and firewall settings
- Install the application
- Configure the application
- Activate your license
- Next steps after installation
- Unattended installation
Note
- If you want to deploy a trial of Burp Suite Enterprise Edition as quickly as possible (as opposed to a full production deployment), see the Trial deployment guide section.
- If you want to deploy Burp Suite Enterprise Edition to Kubernetes via a Helm chart, see the Deploying Burp Suite Enterprise Edition to Kubernetes section.
