Starting Burp Suite Enterprise Edition as an administrator

  1. On the same machine as you installed the Enterprise server and the web server, use your browser to access your localhost URL through the port that you set during the installation process. By default, this should be http://127.0.0.1:8080. This will take you to the Burp Suite Enterprise Edition login page.
  2. Log in using the administrator credentials that you set in the installation wizard. If this is the first time you have logged in, you will be prompted to activate your license.

If you have forgotten these credentials, you can create another administrator user account by running a script. The script is called adminusercreator and is in the installation directory of Burp Suite Enterprise Edition. Here is an example of how to run the script:

./adminusercreator --username=new_admin --password=yournewpassword --email=example@email.com --dbUrl=jdbc:<your database url> --dbUsername=burp_enterprise --dbPassword=yourdbpassword
