Before you can start scanning, there's a few basic setup steps you need to perform. But don't worry, we've put together this setup guide to help get you up and running as quickly as possible.
Getting started with your trial
Burp Suite Enterprise Edition is a powerful tool with plenty of configuration options to tailor the experience to your own landscape and use cases. However, it's a good idea to start out simple so that you can get a feel for the product and check that everything is working correctly. It's easy to migrate to a more complex setup later if necessary.
Let's walk through the setup process together. To keep things simple, we'll install Burp Suite Enterprise Edition and all of its components on a single machine. We'll then show you how to set up a couple of scans using a dummy website that we've provided for demonstration purposes.
