The "Agents" page shows a list of all agent machines that you have set up and authorized. For each agent machine, various details are shown, including its name, IP address, status, and the number of agents that are assigned to it. To get to this page, click on the settings cog icon at the top right of the page and select "Agents"
The number of agents assigned to a given agent machine is the maximum number of agents, and therefore scans, that are allowed to run on this machine at the same time. Therefore, you should only assign as many agents to each machine as you are sure it will be able to cope with. We recommend starting low and increasing the number of assigned agents on a machine slowly to see what affect this has on performance.
To assign agents to a machine, from the "Agents" page, hover the mouse over the machine to which you want to assign agents. Under "Assigned agents", use the plus or minus icons to increase or decrease the number of assigned agents on that machine.
Click on the "Agent machine pools" tab to create agent machine pools and assign agent machines to them. For more details, see Managing agent machine pools.
At the bottom of the page, you can see the total number of agents you have assigned across all your machines, as well as the number of spare agents for which you have a license but have not yet assigned to a machine.
