You can check, edit, and remove your GitHub connections in Burp Suite DAST.
Checking the GitHub connection
When you click Next on Authentication, Burp Suite DAST checks the deployment address and token. The check runs when you save, or change the deployment address or token.
To troubleshoot any connection problems, see Troubleshooting GitHub connections.
Opening the GitHub connections page
To edit or remove a connection, first open the connections page:
- Log in to Burp Suite DAST as a user with the Modify settings permission.
- Click the settings icon in the top-right corner.
- Click Integrations.
- On the GitHub tile, click Edit.
Editing a GitHub connection
- Open the connections page.
- Click the Edit icon for the connection.
- Change the settings. To keep the saved personal access token, leave the token field blank.
- Save the connection. Burp Suite DAST checks the connection when you save.
To change the repository and fields for GitHub issues, see Choosing the repository and fields for GitHub issues.
Removing a GitHub connection
When you remove a connection, Burp Suite DAST also deletes its actions and triggers. It also deletes the GitHub issue links and failure records for the connection. The timelines of Burp Suite DAST issues keep their record of the GitHub issues that Burp Suite DAST raised. You cannot undo a removal.
- Open the connections page.
- Click the Remove icon for the connection.
- Click Remove to confirm.
