The Tasks settings control how Burp manages automated tasks.

Default behavior when loading project files

This setting controls the default state of the Pause automated tasks option in the startup wizard that runs when you first open an existing project file. If the checkbox is selected, then Pause automated tasks is enabled by default in the wizard.

The Default behavior when loading project files settings are user settings. They apply to all installations of Burp on your machine.

Scheduled tasks

The task scheduler enables you to pause and resume automated task execution at specified times.

The Scheduled tasks settings panel enables you to add and edit rules defining when automated tasks should pause and resume. You can set these rules to apply once, or repeat at regular intervals.
