Which Burp Suite Mac installer do you need to download?

In 2020, Apple began introducing a new type of processor for its Mac devices. You need to use a different version of the Burp Suite installer depending on which processor your machine is equipped with.

To determine which processor you have, click the Apple logo in the top left hand corner of your screen, followed by About This Mac.

In the About This Mac dialog, find the line marked either Chip or Processor. This will tell you whether you have an Apple or Intel processor. You can download the appropriate Burp Suite installer from our Releases page.
