You can give Burp AT context by attaching requests, responses, issues, or files to a message.
Sharing Burp resources
To share a resource, right-click it in the relevant Burp tool and select Send to Burp AT. You can also press Ctrl+G on Windows or Linux, or Cmd+G on Mac. Alternatively, select Send to Burp AT from the command palette.
You can send resources from:
Proxy - A message from Proxy > HTTP history.
Target - A node from your site map. Burp skips items without a stored request.
Issues - An issue discovered by the scanner.
Repeater - The request and response from a Repeater tab.
Intruder - An attack result or the base request from the payload positions editor.
Logger - A request and response from a log entry.
Organizer - A request and response from a saved item.
Search - A request and response from Burp Search results.
Requests and responses from Burp Scanner, including individual messages in an issue's evidence.
The context Burp sends depends on the resource:
When you share from a Repeater editor, Burp usually sends the open request and response. If you have edited the request since it was last sent, then Burp omits the earlier response.
When you share from Intruder, Burp sends HTTP messages without attack statistics, and removes payload markers from the base request.
Burp excludes Repeater and Organizer notes when sharing to Burp AT. Include any notes you want Burp AT to use in your prompt.
You can attach shared resources to any task in the open project. You can share up to 50 items at once.
Attaching shared requests, responses, and issues
To attach a shared resource to a task:
Click the + icon in the message box.
Click Requests / Responses or Issues.
Select the item you want to attach.
Burp AT displays the attached resource above the message box. You can attach up to 10 resources in each message.
Attaching files
To attach a file from your computer:
Click the + icon in the message box.
Click Attach a file....
Select the file you want to attach.
You can also drag files into the message box or paste them in.
Burp AT supports text, source code, structured data, common image formats, PDFs, spreadsheets, documents, presentations, and compatible Burp or API files.
The following limits apply:
Each file can be up to 25 MiB.
You can upload up to 10 files to each task, totaling up to 100 MiB.
You can upload up to three files at the same time.
Burp uploads files as you add them. To remove an unsent file, click the x icon on its file card. Burp AT can use attached files at any point during a task.
If an upload fails, then Burp AT displays an Upload failed message on the file card. To try again, click the refresh icon on that card.
